KAM is undergoing a number of construction projects on the Kinkead Pavilion portion of the museum, which contains our ADA-accessible elevator. To stay true to our equity values, we have closed all lower level galleries (Ancient Mediterranean, Moore Decorative Art, and KAM 62 Auditorium) to visitors and public events. The first floor of the museum, accessed via Peabody Drive, including Art Since 1948, Encounters the Arts of Africa, and special exhibition spaces in the East Gallery, West Gallery, and Light Court, will remain open to the public.
