Description
Satire on Louis XIV of France and the dauphin and the Glorious Revolution. The dauphin sits on a barrel on a cart pulled by two frogs, holding a standard onto which four frogs are speared, under his arm are documents titled with the names of cities plundered by the French. An angry Louis XIV with a peg leg is held back by a figure identified in the text as 'Sax.' Pope Innocent XI tries to calm Cardinal Van Furstenberg, who is being grabbed from behind by a Dutchman. In the background, William III defeats James II. Text in Dutch on verso describes the scene.
