Portfolio: Ancient Andean

There are over 700 objects in our collection of works from the Ancient Andes (modern day Peru) -- largely coming from the Fred Olsen collection. This Pre-Hispanic collection contains ceramics, metalworks, stone, textiles, and other organics. The Central Andes in South America was one of the original areas of civilization, spanning 4,500 years from the Norte Chico (Caral-Supe) in 3500 BCE to the Inca Empire in the 16th century CE.
